  Yes—in an emergency, calls to 911 will connect, even during Quiet Mode.
• Can my Tin Can call 911 if there is a power outage?

  If you lose power at your home, your Tin Can phone will not be able to call 911. Tin Can requires a power source and an active internet connection to make or receive any calls, including emergency services.
