International Calling

• In which countries is Tin Can available?

  Currently, Tin Can is available for purchase and use in the US and Canada.

  On May 21, 2026, we'll have pre-orders open for the UK, Australia, and New Zealand! Pre-orders to these regions will begin shipping in November 2026, and our companion app will be available for download before shipping begins.

  We can’t guarantee how Tin Can will operate outside the countries we officially support.
• Can I use my Tin Can to call people in other countries?

  Currently, Tin Cans can make an receive calls to other approved Tin Cans between the US and Canada, and make calls to external US and Canada phone numbers with the Party Line Plan.

  As we expand to additional countries, any Tin Can will be able to call other approved Tin Cans globally through the Can 2 Can Plan.

  Outside of the US and Canada, Party Line calls (external numbers) will only work in-country, but we may offer an international Party Line option in the future.
• If I take my Tin Can out of the US or Canada will it still work?

  The Tin Can is designed for use with North American phone standards and we can’t guarantee how it will operate outside of the US and Canada.
• Will Tin Can work in US territories like Guam or Puerto Rico?

  We’re working on it! Right now, Tin Can works in all continental U.S. states, as well as Hawaii, Alaska, and across Canada.
• Are there plans to expand to other countries?

  On May 21, 2026, we'll open pre-orders in UK, Australia, and New Zealand!

  We’re excited to bring Tin Can to additional countries, but we don’t have details to share just yet. Stay tuned, we’ll announce updates as soon as we can!
