• When do I choose my plan?

  You’ll pick your plan when you activate your Tin Can (or Flashback)!

  We kept the checkout process simple so it’s easy to gift a Tin Can without needing to worry about subscriptions in advance.

  Once your Tin Can arrives, you’ll go through a quick registration process where you’ll choose your plan and set up your device—then you’re ready to start calling!
• Can I have 2 (or even 3) phones on one plan in the same household? Or would I need multiple Party Line plans?

  Yes! You can have 2-3 phones attached to one Party Line plan/account. The only caveat here is that they'd all share one 10-digit number, but can actually place calls at the same time (IE if one phone/child is already on a call, the other one can still pick up their Tin Can and dial someone else at the same time). If someone calls in, all three phones would ring at the same time.

  This would only require one Party Line plan, and when you get the devices you'll be prompted to set it up this way when you're going through the onboarding process. If you wanted three different phone numbers (one for each phone), you'd need 3 different Party Line plans. One final thing to note is that we are only able to register one emergency address per external phone number, so you would likely want to keep the active address updated regularly via our app if you went with one line.

  Call other Tin Cans, free.

  • Bestie has a Tin Can? Free calling to other Tin Cans is included for every device, no subscription required.
  • Subject to a valid account & our terms of service.

  Party Line Plan (coming soon!)

  Call Friends, Family, and 911, for $9.99/month (available as a monthly or yearly purchase)

  • Let your kid call grandma, friends, your own cell, or emergency services. 
  • As always, only callers you approve can communicate with your Tin Can.
  • Subject to certain restrictions & our terms of service.
• Can I delay starting the party line plan/change my mind later if I kick off with one plan but want another?

  Absolutely! You can change/update your plan anytime!
• Can multiple Tin Cans talk to each other all at the same time? Like a party "conference call?"

  You bet! We do currently offer the ability to do a 3-way call party between Tin Cans! 

  We're exploring options for larger-than-3 group or "conference" calls if you will. While it's on our roadmap, we're likely still a ways out from that, but please stay tuned!
• Does the Tin Can have a speaker phone option?

  Yes! The new Tin Can has a built-in speaker phone!
